Community Programs and Services is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1986. Community Programs and Services (CPS) was developed as an alternative social services agency supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. At the core of the agency's philosophy is the conept that people receiving supports are (a) the primary focus of the agency and (b) people first.
On May 01, 1988 Community Programs and Services began its mission to support people with developmental disabilities in ways which were not that dissimilar from those of people without disabilities. Today, Community Programs and Services continues to embrace and uphold its original mission---to serve people well and to provide a quality of life within the community in which they live.
We are proud to have been, and continue to be, a part of the ever-changing landscape of service delivery to those with devleopmental disabilities.
